East TN Bluegrass Association Jam
East Tennessee Bluegrass Association (ETNBA) and Ijams Nature Center are bringing folks together for another year of creating music in a beautiful space! Join the fun at a community jam session for all acoustic bluegrass instruments (no harmonicas or spoons at this time) every third Sunday from 2-5 pm at the Ijams Visitor Center.
All skill levels are welcome. Jam sessions will be inside the Visitor Center during the winter months. Chairs will be set up and ready for you to enjoy the show!
Not a musician? Feel free to come out and enjoy the music! Always FREE and open to the public.

Blackberry Festival
First Annual Blackberry Festival with 5k, food trucks, vendors, games, live music, and more!
Mayberr’s will feature a Blackberry Features sandwich plus a Dr. Sharp Cheddar Cheese Sandwich, in honor of Rev. Dr. Katina Sharp.
All money raised will be donated to Family Promise of Knoxville and the Central Plateau Scholarship Fund of Haiti.

When: June 22, 2024 from 8am until 2pm
The 5K will begin at Powell Middle School at 8am, run through Broadacres subdivision, and end at the church.
